Hi, I'm Ole Strand.

In 2020, I grew my family's e-commerce business by 3.6x, relying solely on profitable Meta ads. That experience revealed the true potential of paid advertising when executed with strategy and precision.

Since then, I've managed over $10 million in ad spend and served as Chief Marketing Officer for one of Norway's fastest-growing companies. Along the way, I have partnered with leading 7- and 8-figure DTC brands across Europe, the US, and Australia, helping them scale through creative and data-driven strategies.

Three years ago, I founded 8FC with a core belief: simply clicking buttons in the ads manager is no longer enough to drive meaningful results. How We Engineer Ads That Scale

Most ads don't work because they depend too much on gut feeling. We do things differently. Each idea we launch is backed by solid research and the sharp instincts of top creative talent. AI helps us move faster, but it's our own judgment that decides what makes the final cut. The brands that find new winning creatives today are the ones whose ads fit naturally into the platform, feel genuine, and really connect with their audience.

But research and taste alone aren't enough. Our creative testing framework is grounded in the power law: creative performance follows an uneven distribution, where a handful of ads generate most of the impact.

Since predicting which ideas will break through is nearly impossible, our approach is to increase our shots on goal, systematically testing a broad mix of concepts.

This volume gives us the best chance to discover breakout winners that can drive real results.

The power law

A few creatives carry the account.

Usually, a handful of creatives, often just 10 to 20 percent, account for 80 to 90 percent of the spend and drive the volume in the ad account. The job of our method is to identify these top performers faster and more reliably than anyone else.

However, our aim isn't to create more ads for the sake of volume.

Instead, we focus on launching purposeful experiments; each ad is either a potential winner or a valuable lesson.

By testing with intention, we quickly surface the outliers and learn what works. Purposeful volume is what builds a sustainable, scalable creative engine.

The second foundational concept in our creative strategy is the idea of tipping points.

Great creative strategy isn't about steady, incremental progress. It's about hitting inflection points that can radically accelerate outcomes.

Even modest gains, like a 10-15% increase in click-through rate, can cascade through your funnel to produce disproportionately large jumps in profit.

Recognizing and reaching these tipping points is the key to unlocking exponential growth with paid ads.
